This clinic started with his own back pain.
Dr. Mark Anthony Rodriguez grew up in El Paso, Texas, and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2018. Since then he has worked across home health, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, and as a program manager at assisted living facilities. He has also built apps related to physical therapy.
The reason he does this work is older than the degree. "Growing up, I dealt with chronic back pain from my high school basketball years, and it shaped the way I see people in pain. I know what it's like when pain affects your confidence, your mood, and even the simple things you want to enjoy in life."
That experience is why he treats back pain, SI joint issues, and spine-related conditions. He is dry needling certified with specialized training in manual therapy techniques like manipulations and adjustments, and as owner he is still in the treatment room: "I'm particularly specialized in dry needling and enjoy creating a culture of high-quality, one-on-one care."
Backs, spines, and the joints that send pain somewhere else.
His own history with chronic back pain shaped the caseload he took on, and the hands-on methods he trained in to treat it.
The principles he practices by.
A Stoic favorite of his, from Marcus Aurelius: "You have power over your mind, not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength." He says it applies well to both physical recovery and life in general.
Patient-Centered Care
"Putting each patient's unique needs at the forefront."
Lifelong Learning
"Continuously improving my skills and knowledge to offer the best care."
Empathy and Compassion
"Building a welcoming, home-like environment where patients feel heard and supported."
Clarity first, then relief, then a plan.
"My goal is to give people clarity, relief, and a real path forward so they can feel strong, capable, and in control of their bodies again."
Dry needling, manual therapy, manipulations, and adjustments, combined into a comprehensive and hands-on approach to patient care.
Years of chronic back pain of his own is why he treats the spine and the SI joint the way he does.
"Our clinic's culture is what I love most. It's a place where patients feel at home, and our team is truly amazing."
He leads the team and builds out the integrated wellness center, and he still treats patients himself.
